Day 30 - Bum Marketing Adventure
Another pretty slow day, as promised. Although I did get around to making another lens. What time I did spend working on this was mainly more research and brainstorming ideas. Tomorrow will probably be pretty lazy too. Back to the serious grind Monday.
I had pretty good sales day. I woke up to 20 bucks, very late in the day had 35. In a matter of a few more hours, I finished with 75. Pretty sweet feeling to make 75 bucks on a day I really didn't even work. Heck, at a "real" summer job where I'm at, 75 bucks in a days work mean you worked for about 10 hours. Score, lol.
Oh, I remember something I had been worried about a few days ago. I was looking over some of Clickbank's policies, and I came across an interesting one. They will not issue a check until you've had at least sales from 5 different credit cards (paypal does NOT count) and at least 1 being a Visa and 1 being a mastercard. Given how many paypal payments I get, I was actually kinda worried about this. That, and the Mastercard thing, hehe. I wasn't aware Mastercard is still all that popular. Lucky me, I had a few mastercard sales and plenty of Visas. But that still had me worried at first.
I was also a little sad to see "it may take up to 15 days to receive your check." Boo, I want some cash in my hands now, just to know it's real, lol. I was also disappointed seeing I'd lose 20 bucks if the postal service loses my check because Clickbank would have to cancel the check. Can't I have it mailed with insurance or something? That way the post office is at fault for it. I wouldn't mind spending an extra buck or two to ensure my 400 bucks makes it ok, lol.
I may have to email the other company I was working with. They are supposed to pay me with paypal at the first of the month. It's past the first, and my paypal account is still empty. Perhaps there's a delay, I dunno. Just good to make sure everything is setup ok.

Way to go man! I tried bum marketing and got sick of it after one week because I wasn't making any money.
I'm glad you stuck with it and are seeing some good returns now!
It motivates me to want to try this again, as I noticed you didn't make any sales until your second week in. Plus you were writing many many more articles than me.
Thanks,
Nick
